License Controller options

Command line options can be used with the license controller to perform licensing functions and provide various types of license information and statistics.

The options shown in Table 1 apply to all Four Js license controllers.

Table 1. License Controller (grxWrt) options
Option Description
-l license number license key Installs a license (requires license number and license key).
-d Deletes current license.
-k installation key Install an installation key for license validation; directly or if you have internet access from the machine you are installing, you can complete licensing automatically using the auto option.
Important: You can run the command to install an installation key whilst users are on the system. They will not be affected by this procedure.
-auto
-m maintenance key Install or update a maintenance key; directly, or if you have internet access from the machine you are installing, you can complete licensing automatically using the auto option.

-i Clears the list of registered user sessions.
-u Force a check of the registered users list on current machine.
-h Display the help for the License Controller.
-v /-V Shows license controller version information.
-a opt Check or view various options, possible options are:
ps Shows processes on current machine.
env Shows current environment.
cpu Shows the number of CPUs in the computer.
info license Shows license information.
info stat Shows statistics of FLM.
info up Checks if the FLM is started.
info users Shows all registered active users.
-x pid Drop a session identified by the process id.
docker-assign docker-instance-name | docker-instance-id Assigns the host license to a docker instance running on the host.
docker-release Releases a license assigned to a docker instance.
